Nike Air Jordan 17 (XVII)

The Air Jordan XVII was designed by Wilson
Smith, and was released in 2002. The retail price was
$200.00, and this high retail price was a major turn off
for most people. This pair came in a suitcase with a DVD,
but even with the extras people still complained about
the $200.00 price tag. The white/blue pair came in a
silver case, white/red came in a red case, and the
black/chrome came in a black case.
Seven different colorways were released, four
mids and three lows. You may also remember the Air Jordan
XVII because MJ hooped in them while playing for the
Washington Wizards. A very common question today is were
they worth $200? Most people would probably say NO! It
really wasn’t the shoes you were paying for, it was the
fancy suitcase.
Unfortunately, you can’t wear the suitcase, and
the materials used is a poor excuse for them to retail
for $200.00. They looked okay, and the Air Jordan XVII is
most likely at the bottom of your Jordans to get
list...
