Nike Air Jordan 2 (II)

The Air Jordan II is like no other, and this
model didn’t feature the swoosh which was a major risk by
Nike. Designed by Bruce Kilgore and released in
1986/1987. In 1986, the white/red/black colorway was
released, and the other colorways in 1987. This was also
the last Jordan to feature the "Air Jordan Wing" logo.
The Air Jordan II lows were made in Italy, and the Air
Jordan II’s retail price was $105.00.
In 1994, the Air Jordan II was retroed in the
original colorway white/red/black. However, the sales
didn’t do well and many stores put them on sale. In 2004,
the Air Jordan II was retroed again in white/red/black,
black/silver, and a limited edition pair nicknamed the
"Melo’s" in white/university blue/v maize.
When you ask people what’s their favorite Jordan
you hardly hear Air Jordan II. There is no other Jordan
that looks like the Air Jordan II, and that’s what makes
this style so special.
