Nike Air Jordan 3 (III)

The Air Jordan III was designed by Tinker
Hatfield and released in 1988. This is the first Air
Jordan to feature the air bubble unit and the famous
cement print. You may also remember Spike Lee playing as
"Mars Blackmon" in the commercials. The retail price was
$100.00.
Before the Air Jordan III was made MJ was going
to leave the company, and he said if he didn’t like the
Air Jordan III he would leave Nike. Thanks to Tinker, MJ
decided to stay with Nike once he saw the sample pair.
Can you even imagine Jordan with another
company?
Mike won the Slam Dunk contest and other awards
the year he hooped in the Air Jordan III. Also, MJ said
that the Air Jordan III was his favorite out of the
current styles, and this is probably everyone’s favorite
Jordan of all time.
