Nike Air Jordan 5 (V)

The Air Jordan V was designed by Tinker Hatfield
and released in 1990. The retail price was $125.00. They
feature the shark teeth or some may call them flames,
clear soles, reflective tongue, lace locks, and air
bubble unit. The Air Jordan V was inspired by a fighter
plane from World War II. Four colorways came out in 1990;
white/black/fire red, black/silver, white/red/black "23",
and the white/emerald green/grape.
In 1999/2000, the Air Jordan V was retroed in
white/black/fire red and black/silver. Nike designed an
air Jordan colorway in MJ’s High School colors nicknamed
"Laneys". Additional colorways were released of the Air
Jordan V in 2006, along with the retro version of the
Grapes and the 23's.
