The Air Jordan VIII was designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1993. The retail price was $125.00, and it featured the three colored tongue, and the cross straps which reminds you of the Nike Air Raid. This style was like no other in look and comfort. Many people said this shoe was hot and uncomfortable. Three colorways were released in 1993 black/red, black/aqua, white/red.

In 2003, the Air Jordan VIII was retroed in two colorways white/red, black/chrome. The retail price was $135.00, and low top versions were also released.
