OK, we know people will catch feelings about this sticky topic, but thats life. The end of 2008 is here and this week and next week we will continue to reflect on this years sneakers. We had some dope, hot, lukewarm, average, and wack sneakers release this year. We’ve seen sneaker brands like Gourmet, Fila, and others play copycat. ’08 offered tons of crap from almost every sneaker brand you can think of, but who released the worst sneaker. The 2008 Worst Sneaker of the Year is???

Hands down its gotta be those WACK fake ass De La Lows that are up there????? Where the hell did you find those??????? In regards to real sneakers from major companies I would have to say any release from Fila..take you pick ALL garbage..even those Wu boots..

I love retro’s to death but there are other hot shoes from JB other than retro’s maybe not as hot but hot in there own right. evrytime i walked thru the mall and saw those wanna b 7s Filas i burst out laughin. so that has to be it.
ALL FUSIONS… the 6 rings is a runner up, along with the Jordan 2.5 Pretty much all the mutant Jordans produced this year.

Ummm the six rings wherent that bad..the worst shoe of 08 was the…shoot every jordan micheal put out besides the six rings and the packages even those could have been better…but rumor has it their will better packages next year for surrre!!!!

i mean the 9s are nice and the vast majority of the fusion 9s will resemble the 9s (the only big af1 counterpart is the mid and bottom sole) but i think its completely pointless. if ur making a shoe that combines af1s and the retro 9s that pretty much looks like a retarded version of the retro9s, u might as well just reretro the 9s.
and i think the fusion concept defeats the value of the af1 and jordans. makes them feel not as special now that JB is just mixing and matching them up randomly

They kinda OD’ed on the fusions. 12′s, 5′s, 3′s, 20′s, soon 6′s for Q1, the 9′s in Q2, the 4′s in Q3… IDK.

YUMS HANDS DOWN…..how anyone can even come at you with that crap is beyond me. Jordan Brand cost everyone here a ton of money and in reality they made us all look stupid….one nice kick made out of complete crap material, one kick so ugly people were giving them away……and yeah, I own alot of Madfoot kicks, but the De La’s and the black/red Supreme knock offs take it too far….

Fusions, six rings, 23s, all mid sb dunks, most af1s. 2008 was waist deep in shit. Will 2009 be any better? Not likely. So the worst of 08? Must be the six rings. Anyone who bought into the hype must feel be feeling pretty raped right about now. Sneaker shops can’t give these goddamn shoes away!!!
i like the 6 rings, they pretty hot if u ask me, the wackest kicks this year, idk theres alot, i mostly hated the fusions, mainly the scenery green fusion 3′s
I can’t hate on Gourmet Kicks. Because in a way they’re continuing what Jordan Brand once was, a premium quality company.
Im mainly into J’s so let me adress JB: The 15s were terrible, the six rings are super whack(weather people admit it or not, people just liked them because they resemble) the fusions should have never produced. As far as Filas,( they have have always sucked) however, I like really like the retro grant hills. Yums are trash (I have reason to believe they could have done better if they were promoted by someone else.) Gourmets…………STOP!!! If I had to pick one shoe for the worst, I’d have to say those South Pole Jordan knock offs that were posted on here earlier this year. ******Yo G-Roc, I know I post that often any more, but just to let you know, I still check the site 3/4 times a day, including first thing in the morning.
