Best Nike SB Release of 2009?
Nike SB hasn’t been the same for a while now, but they managed to drop some solid releases in 2009. Today we recap on the 2009 Nike SB releases, and we wanted to open up the comments section to our readers to discuss the best Nike SB release of 2009. What was your favorite ’09 Nike SB release?

Though I’m new to the SB game (circa 4th quarter 07′) the detail is crazy and like nothing I’ve seen before on the Ms. Pacman SB’s. Seriously looking for more great releases by Nike this New Year.
Resn’s then blue lobsters..though the quality on the Resn’s i found was extremely lacking. the shoes honestly look like the swoosh was placed too low close to the mid sole.

Easily the most under rated shoe n by far the best shoe. the janoski. then comes the guccis .

Quality on the guccis sucked, and all the others sucked too. The woodgrain janakoskis were by far the best. Yet still none of them were worth buying.
only 2 gucci sb’s and blue lobster sb’s

BRAIN WRECKS# 1 most def they’re overall in all categories amazing…#2 lobsters the whole theme is great…#3 guccis love the colorway and material…#4twin peaks…I don’t have ms pacman but I’m sure they’re great..I didn’t like the quality of bloody gums so passed on those..
Also loved un heavens gates I know their not heat but good quality and mad colorway.

only sb’s i picked up in 09′ were the – brainwrecks, twinpeaks, ms pacmans, toxicavengers/searobins and asparagus…i still need to pick up the bluelobsters, northernlights and jpack mids
the sea crystal mids were my fav along with the usc blazers but i havent seen the gucci in person yet so i cant just give them the number 1 spot although they probly take it

Everybody seems to agree that the quality on the Gucci SBs sucks, so how could it be number 1? I know, I know, “they were so hyped dude” (in a super nerd voice)…so what if they were hyped up…the list isn’t “Most Hyped SB of 2009″ ….don’t get me wrong, they’re a dope shoe and they’re gonna be worth some dough some day….but….get off it’s nuts….LOL That’s it, I’m done….glad to see it’s not topping everyones list….
People still buy SB’s? I guess hype will always overcome anything(SMH). NSB was hot back in late 2006 but, since then it’s been horrible.

Blue Lobsters…only because I had to camp out all night for them…I love campouts tho…Nice, simple shoe…gucci’s #2 for me..I cop’d a lot of others too but mostly the lobs and the gucci’s are at the top.

This is exactly why I have divorced SBs…… but did someone say ‘BLOODY GUMS’…. I had to get them joints… the ONLY SB that meant anything to me in 09.

Call me crazy, but in the last yr or so…. I have sold my MF DOOMS..PEE WEES…RED LOBSTERS…MILLI’S…BLOODY SUNDAYS…NEW CASTLES…TINKER P-RODS… to name a few. To be totally honest, the only ones I regret selling are the LOBSTERS

Currently, the only SBs I own aside from the BLOODY GUMS are the TOXIC AVENGERS (bought those on the strength that dude that owns NJ SKATESHOP designed ‘em). SKATE OR DIES (ran into them by accident), SANDALWOODS (don’t know why I still have those) & my GRAIL of SBs the DE LA HIGHS (need I explain)….. SMH

I got on the SB train a lil later than most, but from what I can tell SB’s have lost most of what used to make them so special. Maybe its just cause everybody knows about em now….not so exclusive anymore. IDK…whatever.
