2009 Nike Air Penny Retro Love
Air Penny fans get ready for 2009. As you should already know, Nike will re-release the popular Air Penny II this year, and they will continue to show Penny retro love in ’09. The Air Penny III retro will release in both OG colorways, and what has already been dubbed as the “Eggplant” Foamposite will also make it’s debut next year.
Nike created a Air Penny hybrid called the “1/2 Cent” which is a combo of Penny’s signature kicks made into one sneaker. It’s also been said that the Air Trainer III’s we posted Friday pay homage to Penny Hardaway’s B-Ball teams; Magic, Heat, and Suns.
Seen in the image above is the Air Penny III retro and the new colorway of the Air Penny II retro. The Air Penny II features black, varsity red, and varsity maize. Both of them will drop next year. via NT
