2017 Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Available

EPA approved.

This is one of the many cool things adidas is doing. Today adidas announced a new Parley Ultra Boost collection.

Each pair features a blue colorway that’s inspired by shades of the ocean. This collection used marine plastic debris to help eliminate ocean threat.

via adidas:

Reusing an average of 11 plastic bottles per pair, UltraBOOST Parley, Parley UltraBOOST X and UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley feature laces, heel webbing, heel lining, and sock liner covers made from recycled PET material. Not only do the latest additions to the adidas Parley collection have a purpose, they also deliver the same elite performance with every stride.

Additionally, as part of its commitment to create a global movement, adidas calls on its global community to join the adidas x Parley Run for the Oceans digital event – hosted by Runtastic, and taking place around World Oceans Day 2017 (June 5-11). Runners are invited to show their commitment to the cause by joining the run – from the city streets, the beach, or wherever they happen to be during that week. To find out more, get involved and sign up, please visit adidas.com/runfortheoceans.

The release date for the collection is May 10th. Available in-store and adidas.com.

UPDATE 5/10/17: The collection drops on adidas at 11am EST (depending on when you’re reading this). Good luck!

I know that I have no chance, but I absolutely NEED those Ultra Boosts. I’ll even take the uncaged if I have to.

hope you got a pair as these were a very easy cop. The caged were a little harder to get but if you put in minimal effort you could get a pair as they were basically a GR

they still on shelves but i def need to get a pair then wear them in my tesla going 0-60 in 2 seconds #bowwowchallenge

  • Uncaged still available.

Thanks for the heads up. Had no clue these would be such an easy grab. I totally put these joints out of my mind.

Man, I wish I would’ve known. Might settle for the uncaged pair.

  • Adidas is either producing more shoes or interest in NMD’s and UB’s is waning. A year ago I’m fairly certain there’s no way I could show up at an Adidas flagship store, get let in before 10am and be out in less than 10 minutes with both shoes in hand. Saw two dudes on my way there so I knew they were smartly letting people in early to avoid crowd buildup but there were no crowds.

  • Probably one of the easiest UB releases so far. There was zero need to take the day off of work, which I started to get a sense of the day before. I went the 5th Avenue route since I bought my Parley uncaged from there before and they seem to have lots of stock whenever I’ve gotten over there, sometimes even late in the evening.

Few females there that are very easy on the eyes and overall knowledgeable staff. I ain’t complaining and this is probably one of my favorite retail spaces in all of NYC to shop.

Zero lines and they had me out in 10 minutes or before they even opened officially at 10am.

Adidas continues to push the UB and great initiatives but the big story here is their shoes are becoming more available and have been for over a 6mths now while some brands believe the way back to relevance should be in the form of customer frustration.

Is UB hype dying just a little or is Adidas producing more shoes? Until we figure it out let me just remind you these joints are flame.
