23/ 501 Jordan Brand x Levi’s Pack Info
We’ve been sitting on this info for a while, but the time has now come to inform both Jordan and Levi’s fans since detailed info is now available. Jordan Brand and the denim giants “Levi’s” have joined forces to create a interesting project. This collabo called “23/501″, as in MJ’s #23 and Levi’s classic 501 jeans. The limited edition package will makes it’s debut on March 1, 2008. Included in the pack is the denim Air Jordan 1 retro, 501 Levi’s jeans, and a brushed cotton tee featuring the a graphic mix of both brand’s unique iconic imagery.
The 23/501 collabo takes key components from Jordan Brand and Levi’s. The raw selvedge 501 denim jeans features cement print lining, Jumpman embroidery on one pocket and 6 gold rings (representing MJ’s championship rings) on the inside of the button fly. As if that’s not enough, to protect sneakers from denim bleeding the hem features a leather sneaker guard. Each box will be numbered and graphics that represent both companies will grace the box. The packs will be available select Levi’s stores, NikeTowns, high end streetwear shops, specialty chains, and sneaker boutiques. Ticket price is set at $395. This looks interesting but I hope the jeans are something nice and simple and not a pair of denim covered with Jordan shoes or something cause that would be tacky lol

I dunno…the shoes will probably be wack IMO…DENIM Jordan I’s??? Man, I gotta see them before I say anything more, but still, $400 is a lot…I’d rather pay a little over $300 and get two pairs of Jordans in OG colorways than buy this…it all depends on how the shoes look. JB is tryna break the hypebeasts’ pockets in 2008…LOL

Ray schools us again as usual. Ray you need to have your own buyer’s guide on TSG. You could tell the readers what’s hot and what’s not. You could list your top 5 fav products for the month and your top 5 least fav items. Letting the readers know your view on price, the product, colors, etc.
