23: The Street History of a Shoe – Air Jordan Documentary Preview
Well, what do we have here? A good friend of TSG “A.R. Shaw” is almost ready to release his DVD and book. The movie 23: The Street History of a Shoe has been in the works since 2006 and Shaw is now adding his finishing touches to the film. 23 is an Air Jordan documentary about the social, political, and economic phenomenon from the perspective of the streets. True voices from the hip-hop community, shoe experts, and everyday Air Jordan fanatics give their take on the greatest shoe to ever be produced.
On a side note, I (G-Roc) remember when Shaw interviewed me back in 2006 (as you can seen from the YouTube thumbnail). I spoke with him today about the release of the DVD and book. I was told everything will be sold as a set for only $15, and will be available for purchase in April. Stay tuned for the official movie premiere and party details. Check out the preview!

I went on a business trip 2 years ago to the ATL and I couldn’t figure out what most people were saying, but compared to them G-Roc you weren’t so bad. As for the Book/DVD everything is sounding pretty cool, and the price is awesome. It actually looks like the type of thing that gets me hyped about Jordans, kinda like what ‘Just for Kicks’ did. I’m also waiting to see what Spike Lee does with his long awaited Jordan documentary.
^I feel ya 23edge. That actually makes me feel better because when I was in New York they said they couldn’t understand anything I was saying. I had to talk “SUPER SLOW”. They made me feel special in a bad way. That was one slow talking trip. lol
Honestly I had forgot all about the Spike Lee documentary, but his better be the best hands down, no contest. He has the best stories to tell and footage we’ve probably never seen before. Let’s not even mention the kicks….

back in 2000-01 a teenager was killed outside of a movie theater outside detroit which is southfield(detroit dosent have any movie theaters or malls) for his cool grey jordans (like the space jam ones) dont realy know what number but that was fucked up…Rest In Peace
