8.8.08 Olympic Dunk Event @ Standard ATL

Standard 8.8.08

As we reported earlier this week, Atlanta’s own Standard will host a special event today for the release of the Olympic Dunk High Collection. Standard is one of the few shops in the A-Town to get all six colors of the Patent Dunk Hi’s. The release party will start at 7pm and the Opening Ceremony which will be on display starts at 7:30pm. It’s going down tonight at Standard, so like we said on Monday…be there or be square!

Oh yeah, don’t forget DJ Don Cannonnnnnnn will be on hand. Nuff said!

    Just came from Standard…cool crowd there to watch the re-run of the Olympics opening – plus some guys who brought a pair of sneakers to change into when they reached the store…wtf???

    Anyway my opinion of the kicks haven’t changed after seeing them in person…they still look like some plastic boots a first grader would wear in the rain with a matching raincoat…
