Adidas Ali Classic II – Leroy Neiman
Back in May we first reported on the Ali Classic II, but at the time we had very little info on the release. Two months later we have full details on not only Leroy Neiman’s masterpiece, but a full run down of the Ali collection. As we said back in May Leroy Neiman is well known for his sports inspired artwork, and he enjoys doing paintings at boxing matches in Las Veags. One of his most popular pieces was a sketch of the fight between Frazier and Ali. Leroy has an impressive portfolio of his talented work.
Adidas and Leroy teamed up giving him the opportunity to bless the Ali Classic II with his gift. His magic touch humbly graces the uppers followed by the royal purple and gold colorway plus his signature on the side. Muhammad Ali is also featured on the heel and he also designed matching clothing. Just like the “Flavours of the World”, the “Ali” collection starts in July and ends in December. Leroy’s pair is symbolic for respect, and the others are confidence, dedication, giving, and spirituality. You’ll have to wait for the others to drop, but the Leroy Neiman’s Ali Classic II is now available at Adidas Originals stores.
