adidas Drops Gilbert Arenas
Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards has without a doubt landed himself in some spell binding trouble. Yesterday, the court decided his fate on the alleged gun charges and now his sponsor adidas have ruled their final judgement of what’s to come of their endorser. adidas has chosen to drop the Wizards star from the brand shortly after the court ruling. adidas didn’t want to “jump the gun” on deciding their next move with Agent Zero but now we have confirmation thanks to TMZ. Doesn’t really matter what anyone says on here, DC HAS VERY STRICT LAWS! PERIOD! Gil ‘was’ a role model to alot of kids in teh city. BUT NO Wizard, Redskins, Capital of National is above the law. So he will get exactly what he deserves. I can only pray for him and his family to get through this situation.
Besides, no one wears adidas stuff in the city anyways.

I need to read up more on this but what I wanna know is WHO reported on seeing them with guns in the locker room any way? Newspapers don’t say nothing or no one on the News told the public that? How did this all leak out any way? The equipment boy? The head coaches?

You can’t really blame the players though since Eddy Curry got robbed and other numerous players got robbed on the streets.

Nobody who plays for any DC local teams get robbed in the DC Metro area. Gil and everyone else live in Northern VA with the rich white folk. So there is NO need to carry a gun honestly at all. He always has security and they are always off duty cops or in uniform.
I’ve lived in DC all my life and have always hated the fact that a small city like us is in teh Top 5 most violent cities. HOWEVER rap constantly perpetuates bullshit and lil niggas still think they can be teh NEXT Rayful Edmonds.

how is Adidas gunna drop him because he was convicted of gun charges but then have a sneaker named “young guns”…could it have been for promotional reasons??? idk but this is exactly why Adidas does not do well in the U.S.A (atleast compared to nike) …. i mean 1 of the most looked up to figure in the black communtity (in terms of sports) Tiger Woods got caught cheating on his wife with multiple woman, and nike says that they will still stick with him because as long as he is performing up to par in golf thats all they need to worry about, and wat happins in his personal life today people will look at it tomorrow and laugh. so i think adidas took it to far. thats my input tell me wat u think???
The Tiger Woods shouldn’t of loss endorsement with anybody, he didn’t rape and kill those girls. All he did was cheat on his wife, a bad marriage in the U.S. isn’t a surprise.
everybody have their own ups and downs. no matter how hard you fall. no matter how many people turn their backs on you. no matter what they tell about you. you got to REBOUND and and show them that they made a mistake when they turned their back against you.
that’s all agent zero needs to do.
