It’s Yeezy Season and adidas Originals has zero chill. Rumors often come with high profile releases and one account by the name of YeezyTalk Worldwide is usually at the center of most when it comes to Kanye West footwear. In fact, many blogs including TSG has sourced some of their rumors before.
Yesterday @YeezyTalkWW tweeted a full list of upcoming Yeezy Boost footwear:
adidas Originals caught wind of the tweet and promptly replied with an emoji suggesting that the information isn’t true.
It’s very rare for an official brand account to speak out against leakers on social media, but adidas had time that day. One user asked if @YeezyTalkWW could be trusted and their response was just savage.
As if exposing the leakers for false information wasn’t bad enough, adidas closed the casket and buried them by saying “RIP Viv” (owner of the YeezyTalk Worldwide).
This might be the first time in history that we’ve witnessed a brand expose a leaker account. Perhaps YeezyTalk Worldwide can rebrand to LeBronTalk or SkechersTalk? Ha! Either way, that’s a glorious L they’ll have to hold. It’s a cold world out there in Sneaker Twitter.
We thought this guy took the biggest L in Sneaker Twitter history, but YeezyTalkWW takes the cake!
