adidas Originals Consortium Water Color Animal Print Pack

The adidas Originals Consortium collection will equip a few of their classic models with some bold colorways and patterns for their Spring/Summer 2013 lineup. Called the Water Color Animal Pack, it consists of three models including the Matchplay, Strider and Tech Super.

Each model will feature high-end touches like the hand painted patterns and the use of premium leather materials. Look for the adidas Originals Consortium Water Color Animal Print Pack to hit select retailers like No.74 on March 16.

“Taking this to the next level, adidas has used a technique of painting on fabric by hand to create a design that looks wild cat-like from a distance, but up close is an amalgamation of watercolour splatters. The execution has been used on canvas for the Matchplay and Strider models, while the Tech Super model utilises a stretch mesh with the same effect. Although the prints are subdued in colour, they are certainly dynamic; additionally, all three shoes feature a dash of colour that pushes it to eye-catching limits.”
