The NBA sneaker world has been crazy and it takes another turn as Washington Wizards point guard John Wall has left Reebok to sign with adidas.
The NBA line-up is strong for adidas, including Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan, Ricky Rubio, and many more. Derrick Rose’s signature line has proven successful, showing that adidas knows what it takes to create a high quality and creative basketball sneaker.
Here’s what adidas had to say about the new partnership with John Wall:
“John Wall is a great talent and his quickness, superior athleticism and personality make him one of the most exciting young players in the game,” said Lawrence Norman, adidas vice president of global basketball. “We’re excited to partner with John to continue to develop new innovative products and grow our brand and business.”
John Wall also commented on joining up with adidas:
“I’ve enjoyed my time with Reebok and I’m grateful for everything we accomplished the last few years,” said Wall. “Now, I’m excited to return to the court soon and begin my new partnership with adidas. They’ve changed the game with new technology and style and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Time will tell how adidas will handle John Wall but if history shows, most likely we’ll see a signature model for Wall sometime in the future.

Wait? What????????
the same as Westbrook going from Nike to Jordan. he really didn’t go far. I’m just glad Reebok realized they don’t have the foothold they need to really push a new signature line. they need to focus on retros and let Adidas focus on Rose and Wall while Dwight sucks it up in LA.
