Adidas ZXZ “Jesse Owens” – Sneak Peak
This special ZXZ pays homeage to African American track and field Olympic athlete “Jesse Owens”. The ZXÂ family is the pinnacle of the Adidas running line, perhaps the most famous range of running shoes in the Adidas archive. This execution takes inspiration from Jesse Owens.
The Jesse Owens ZXZ features a winged foot logo along with a dark navy, white, and solid red make up. Matching clothing will also be available when the Jesse Owens ZXZ hits stores. This is just a sneak peak, and expect to see them at Adidas Originals stores in June for a retail of $100.

these are hot…they have that casual but sporty and street look…ZXZ’s are mad comfortable too
^I like a lot of stuff I see from Adidas, but people sleep on Adidas. The ZX line is like the Air Max for Adidas. If it ain’t Jordan, AF1, or Nike SB people don’t really care these days.So sad, but true.
Anyhow, it’s good to see Adidas paying homeage to a legend like Jesse Owens. The clothing collection is nice, track jacket/pants and tees. I guess since the 2008 Olympics is this year Adidas thought it would be dope to hook up this ZXZ for JO. Be on the lookout for more Olympic themed kicks from Adidas this year.

I AGREE MOST PEOPLE DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ADIDAS VANS PUMA AND OTHER BRANDS JUST LIKE YOU SAID IN THE GREG STREET VIDEO. LIKE TOKYO MIKE SAID I WEAR ADIDAS TO. I THINK AGE HAS ALOT TO DO WITH IT G ROC. I’M 30 SO I CAN REMEMBER THE OLD SCHOOL ADIDAS DAYS. I LIKE THE MAN BEHIND THE SHOE AND THE COLORS.

Cody – I feel ya. I think age plays a huge factor on what type of sneakers people are into these days. At 25 I’ve seen a lot of brands over the years, some that are no longer around. I’m the if I like, I buy it type. Bottom line! I own New Balance, Vans, Adidas, Asics, Undr Crwn, etc and of course Nike. I understand Nike runs the game, but it’s ok if you want to buy another brand…it won’t hurt nothing. Try it people, it actually feels good.
Adidas should have released them this month for Black History month. Thankz for the sneak peak and these might get my money. I love who they represent.

Cody and G-Roc we gotta hold it down for the older cats lol!!! I do think age has alot to do with it…..I think being older, you just stop caring about impressing anyone, and you do whatever makes you happy….including straying away from the “popular” brands and mixing it up all the time with your shoe game.
