Air Force 1 “30th Anniversary & Year of Dragon” Bespoke

| January 6, 2012 | Comments (4)

To commemorate the Air Force 1′s 30th anniversary and the Year of the Dragon, Chinese designer, Zhijun Wang crafted an impressive presentation of Bruce Kilgore’s brainchild. Utilizing traditional pyrography tools coupled with modern lasering, the Air Force 1′s dominant features are the wave pattern over the toe, dragon scale pattern on the tongue, and “The Eight Trigrams” symbol along with the dragon motif are seen on the heels and inside. The metallic/wooden dubraes feature an etched ZJ DESIGN logo while the box displays exquisite laser graphics. The conceptual package also includes a custom bamboo case for the iPhone 4S and an extra pair of ZJ DESIGN dubraes. We’re sure Nike has something special in store this year with the Air Force 1 but we hope they take notes from designs such as these.

These need more color i agree, but for people who are wondering why so much black on the other air forces. Well this year is the year of the black water dragon.

i rather all black than all the blue these dragon kicks are getting

Can’t say I agree about the color, if these looked like some kid puked birthday cake all over em I wouldn’t care…that clean all white upper lets the design stand out without it being overkill….I like em just like this.
