Air Jordan 1 AJKO Retro White/Red
Boom! Images of the white/red Air Jordan 1 “AJKO” have finally hit the web. Several rounds of images of the red/white/black AJKO have been floating around the web, but now images of the white/red colorway are available for your drooling pleasure. No word on when these will exactly release, but they are set to drop this Summer for $125. Stay tuned for release info.

these would be so nice if they didn’t have the yellowed soles. but there’s something about them that still makes me want them. idk, they’re definitely getting tried on, but i don’t want them for $125.

lol you cats miss the whole point of this shoe.. its not suppose to be crisp and it would kill the reality of this shoe if it did.. i dont care who the collector is its canvas and canvas doesnt store well.. this is what they all would look like today.. and thats what they gave you.. the bred is me all day.. gonna be a dope summer shoe..
I’m pretty sure there’s a way to clean them, yeah the vintage sole looks nice but not everyone likes them like that… If some are lucky maybe the “dirty” paint well chip or flake off due to JB quality.

The first pics I seen, they didn’t yellow the sole, are try to make the canvas look vintage, I like the other AJKOs but these are too plain for me.
I like the AJKO, but I don’t like the vintage look on these. If they were actual OG AJKO’s and looked like that then you got a story of a real collector holding on to them for all those years. to make a retro look aged like the OG is stupid IMO. it undermines the years of aging and preservation of Legitimate OG KO’s to get yellowed, which I would appreciate alot more then this pre yellowed BS.

Not sure about these. Def copping the red/black/white joints, but these are a toss up.

@ ToykoMike, more pairs for us. since alot of people don’t like them, I won’t lose sleep the night before camping out for these. I’ll get there 5 minutes before they open.
@TokyoMike – just to clarify a bit. I wasn’t trying to hate on the shoe at all. I’m more pissed at JB then anything. had they been legitimate Vintage KO’s that nike had in a vault and decided to release, then I would cop in a second. In fact I might still cop them, but I think that vintage nostalgic look is earned with age and should be a story of some kicks stocked then busted out years later rather then included in a production line.

BcUz-I-cAn Dude…..if Jordan had a stash of vintage OG KO’s, and released em to the public, I’d kill myself…..just because the fight to get a pair would be astronomical. I agree with what you say….the look is earned with years of wear and storage….but, in this case, it’s on a dope shoe that would look WRONG without that treatment since the majority of people who’ve even SEEN a pair has seen it in this condition from the very first time they layed eyes on it….so, most people’s initial viewing of the AJKO was some yellowing, weirdo canvas Jordan 1 that held an almost mythical status amongst collectors….mine included…..and now, I KNOW I’m not getting an OG, but I’m getting ahold of that pissy, Unicorn/Bigfoot/Alien-myth sneaker that I seen years ago duct taped to a display rack in a tiny shop somewhere…..and for me, that’s enough to go with it.

Another dirty shoe Nike/JB wants us to pay retail for… SMH… Just because it looks like the real things doesn’t make it the real thing. It is still a retro that was made to look dirty, which is faking it. I’m not going to let you hype-beast raise the value of these. Some shoes should never be retroed and these are the ones that should stay in the past. Not because they don’t deserve a retro, but because they are too iconic. And this is not coming from some new to the game young dude. Stop with the madness JB, you pay your employees to come up with new and exciting innovations, but yet all your paying them to do is look at old nike catalogs and re-release shoes. Why even pay these people? I’ve seen way more people on these blogs with better ideas. Fire all of the creative staff and just read the blogs or go get you a young Tinker.
