Air Jordan 2009 Commercial

The Air Jordan 2009 will hit Jordan Brand accounts next month and we’ve come across what we believe to be the first ad for the shoe. This ad is very similar to a movie trailer because it ends with “Coming Soon”. Check it out and see for yourself. Air Jordan 2009 set to drop on February 14th.

    That commercial should of had Will Smith and they should call the Air Jordan 2009 “Air Hancock”. But seeing the shoe on somebody, it doesn’t look that wack anymore. But the price is too high.

  17. dope commercial…but the shoe still sux ass!! i remember when the new AJ commercial used to drop, it got you amped to go buy the kix, i still get excited watchin the slo-mo ajXII joint…..now, its just another shoe commercial.

  19. Great commercial and I’m still on the fence with these shoes…..I wanna see everything….the shoes, the box, the whole deal, before I make a call….they may look alot better on your feet than in the pics so…..

The concept of the video: Lets market urban kids without going too dangerous by filming in the nicest street-ball court we can find; then add a mix of Hancock pop-culture; and finish off with a “non-threatening” black guy talking with a white guy. IMO The ad sucked and Brand Jordan would have been better off just re-using an old ad from the early 90’s and super imposing the J09’s into it sorta like the Game of Death movie.

    tight commercial…they prolly good for playing ball in…but they too ugly to rock for style….the price is wayyy too high since i’m not a hard core ball player

    I would ONLY get those for $80 or under, no way I’m going to pay $100 or more let alone $190 being retail.

    im kinda getting a xiv vibe from these not sure if anyone had mentioned this yet. i like em and would really like to ball in em but like most people in todays economy cant afford the $190 price tag

  32. Corny. One BIG thing I always find myself explaining to non-shoe-heads is that sometimes, I do not care about the shoe’s technology or ‘abilites’, because we all know it’s the person, not the shoes that make the game.
    Alot of cornballs (non-ballers)out there say, “you got Jordans, what they’re gonna make you play better?” No you freegin’ idiot, I got J’’s cuz I love J’s…

    Well THIS commercial is AMMO for those cornballs, they see this and have a REASON to talk ish…corny.
