I like how they made the toe box separate from the rest of the shoe to minimize creasing. That’s pretty innovative. I really want to know how these perform before I decide to cop them or not. Based on looks, it’s a no-go. But these 25th anniversary 2010s actually look pretty good …. from far away lol. when he brought it in for the close up at the end I think I cringed a little.
I don’t personally care if he flips the shoes, because if you pay resale prices for these sh*ts you deserve to get ripped off.

Appreciate all the comments. In my mind, we’re all family here so I wanted to give y’all a look at these joints. Most of you hate the shoes. They aren’t my favorite, but respect certain aspects of it. Innovative for sure.

@Backroad- Like I said the shoe is straight my brother. Hope you can get a good price for them. They are rare. And an avid collector should scoop them. @Lem – eBay prices for these kicks are strong. I’ve seen a pair sell for $420 and $600, and the other pairs that are being bid up are between $250 and $440. I’ll be straight.

I ACTUALLY LIKE THIS PAIR, but i highly doubt that their is only 72 pair made, but we will see. I def would have bough one pair if i had a chance. I am trying to like a color out of the Aj 25 joint that i think nike won’t retro the s**t out.

nice vid backroad , held the 2010 in my hand today and they are better in person but i like the all white color way it could be a dope summer shoe, toe box is ill, remeber the low top 11′s that had the netting with holes in the shoe at first peeps were hesistant and they have been retroed so i would give these a chance but not 600.00

@ Manfromoz when the XI’s came out everyone wanted them and they sold out. I don’t know where people keep coming up with the idea that they weren’t popular. MJ had just made his return, and Jordan mania was crazy. In fact the first sneaker that made everyone peter out interest in Jordans was the XV’s… a shoe that was ugly and that MJ didn’t play in. So your argument for letting a decade pass before people start taking interest in them isn’t very strong when the XV’s are still the worst selling sneaker. You can now add to that list the XX1’s, XX2’s, 09’s, and lukewarm XVII’s – XX’s and what you have left is I-XIII. The point being that these are the sneakers that MJ played in, that Tinker worked on (minus 1\2), that were designed beautifully, and released in a period of time when Air Jordans didn’t have any competition as far as sneaker technology. Those sneakers were all innovative, so in this case no one is arguing against releasing sneakers that are daring to be different. The 2010’s are not innovative, they have nothing new to advance towards sneaker technology, they are designed horribly, and have been overshadowed by other sneakers and retros already. Or would you be willing to not make a trade for your precious 2010’s for a pair of copper foamposite’s if give the chance?
I understand the thinking behind making the toe box separate from the rest of the upper. But it’s retarded thinking. If you wear the shoes outside, and you accidentally step in a deep puddle, your feet are going to DROWN. Also, this shoe has no vent holes in it for breathability. That’s a mistake. The observation windows in the side, absolutely stupid. Jordan brand has dropped off. Hard.

The Air Jordan XI sucks. Everyone says how great it is. But there are shoes out there now that are a million times better. It’s ugly, it’s uncomfortable, it’s overpriced. All hype, no merit.

As for the Air Jordan 2010, i think tech wise its a great sneaker. i also REALLY appreciate how they pushed the envolope on these kicks. I mean a circular clear window? Really? Seriously??? ALSO Depending on the colorway (like the black and blue ones), these kicks look a little better than before.

But make no mistake, the over all look of these kicks are not very nice. at all. They really just don’t sit well esthetically. It doesn’t hurt my eyes to look at them, but it could have looked better.

After seeing the Air Jordan 2010, i makes me appropriate the Air Jordan 2009 even more… I actually might pick one up (at deep discount of course… that is ANOTHER sneaker that if the colorways were right, it would have been a hit)
Oh and by the way, Backroad you made the right choice I think in getting them. They are still collectibles for sure but it may take a while for people to love them. if you get them signed, that would make them even cooler.

GREAT video… knew how to describe the shoe and and give good looks at it! Sounded more knowledgeable than 90% of the celebs who try to talk the language! No doubt it’s a good piece of work and can be greater appreciated in person.

That toebox concept is actually very similar the floating fender concept on soft-tail motorcycles. Hard mounting the fender to the rear of the frame that hinges with the mono-shock. Just check out the HD Rocker for my reference!
