On February 6th, 2013 at 4:51pm EST, the Air Jordan 3 ’88 White/Cement finally dropped. The release commemorates the iconic colorway that was on MJ’s feet as he launched from the free throw line to win the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. When it was time for the actual game, Michael Jordan laced up in a pair of Black/Cement AJ3’s. He also racked up forty points and took home MVP award while wearing that particular colorway. Could there be a return of the AJ3 Black/Cement with Nike Air to pay homage to his All-Star MVP Award?
The ESPN segment “It’s Gotta Be The Shoes” showed a glimpse a possible Black/Cement version of the AJ3 ’88 Retro. Stay tuned to TSG for the latest updates on the possible release of the Air Jordan 3 ’88 Retro Black/Cement.
