Air Jordan 8 Retro “Playoffs” – In Stores Tomorrow!!
Real Jordan heads don’t need a release date reminder for the Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs”, but I thought I would post a few more pics anyway. In case you’ve been under a rock, the Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Playoffs will be available tomorrow, December 22nd. This colorway hasn’t been seen in stores since 1993 and after 14 years they return. The Playoff AJ8′s will be available at all Jordan Brand accounts, but keep in mind this is the #1 Christmas gift for sneakerheads so they won’t last long. Outside of these being a great Christmas gift, this is also an original ”bred” colorway which happens to be the most desired Air Jordan colorway of all time. Another great Holiday release from JB. Ticket price, $140 and the wait is now over!

I want these, but i read somewhere that they are very tight around the middle and I have that problem with some sneakers and its hurting like hell… couldnt even walk in my first pair of AM90… LOL it was the hufmax colabs and they costed like 300$ here in norway. but I loosened them up and bow they stop hurting after like a week;) maybe I will get these or maybe I will not… think I have to try them on in my local store first..;););)

^realtalk- which Air Jordan release I think was the hottest of the year?? ….hmm, …Im’a go-ahead and say the Ture Blue, White/Cement, and KC Spizike’s, and Fire Red AJ III Retro’s were the best AJ release’s of 2007…those 4 kicks were the hottest AJ releases this year, in my opinion. If I HAD to choose one shoe…it would be the White/Cement Spizike’s…but the Fire Red III’s would come in a close 2nd. All of the Spizike’s have made a HUGE impact on the AJ community.
They are one of the only non-numbered AJ kicks (aside from Dub-Zero’s) that get AJ credability..period. AND, the Spizike’s that have been released this year have been DOPE son…true talk….
So…for 2007, in my opinion…it’s

On the flip side the Playoff 8′s were SOLD OUT at most places. This is what happens when they release a black/red retro Jordan, and the Christmas season doesn’t make it any better.

1 more thing: Why is JB using big boxes now? I got a size 8.5 that looks like a size 11 or 11.5 box? I noticed that on the Doernbecher AJ2′s. The size 12 box was super duper big. Anybody know what’s the deal with the big boxes?
Damn I haven’t even worn my Aquas to this very day. I’m scared to break them in they so lovely and virgin and that’s how I feel about my Playoffs. But why yeah G-Roc why are the boxes so big now?
