Air Jordan Comfort VIS 11 – Spring 2011
Last Friday a few Jordan Brand Spring 2011 samples were leaked, and one of the samples included the Air Jordan Comfort VIS 11. At the time we didn’t know the actual name of the shoe so we referred to them as the Jordan Air Max Fusion.
However, this forthcoming Jordan shoe features Air Jordan 11 characteristics combined with Air Max tooling. Jordan Brand knows everyone loves the retro line, and people have been waiting for new innovation from Jordan Brand for a while, but is this the type of innovation you wanted? No matter how you feel about these new Jordan hybrids, you will see these, plus a few more Jordan Air Max hybrids next year.
The Air Jordan Comfort VIS 11 will invade Jordan Brand accounts Spring 2011. In addition to the Cool Grey and anthracite/volt/black Jordan Comfort VIS 11, Brand Jordan will also release a chlorine/black version. Retail will be $110. via SN

This seems unnecessary…anyone who finds these appealing should just cop some Air Max.
JB didn’t say “we’re trying to recreate the Jordan 11″ here….they just said they used some attributes in the design process. These aren’t as bad as some of the other CRAP JB’s dumped in our lap, and they look comfortable, so I’m onboard to at least give em a chance.

JB gotta do somethin…these retros aren’t sellin, and it’s like every day somebody comes in sayin ” I’m done with Jordan.” All of you “die hard Jordan purists” ain’t the ones out there buyin. It’s the Fusion and Team Jordan buyer that’s making my paycheck. You guys wanna save your precious retros…go buy some.
I don’t think the backlash on these is really warranted…JB gets beat to a pulp for regurgitating retroes like they’re going out of style but then when they try to branch out of their element, they are pulverized for not sticking to the classic look…??
Looking at the model I can definitely see some potential, not saying this shoe looks like the shiz and I’m inching to but with some decent colorways I think this shoe could look alright.

Not in total hate of these…I think cats is jumping the gun on opinions….I would consider these to be in the same lane as Nike Air Huarche Burst…Jordan 11 inspired…very comfortable shoe…many consider them to be an automatic pickup if you can find them…They did not do that well at retail…Im sure these wont do well either…but should be a good performence shoe non the less…Ill wait to see them in person….(Then cop on a 50..lol)
im in love..the XI is my favorite shoe of all time..this is like an air max meets AJ11 low..i like..very innovative..if all the jordan heads dont get their heads out from up their own a$$es their wont be a JB line for much longer bc they cant survive solely off retros forever..why does no one get that..it’s a simple concept..they have to broaden their line or they wont make any money and eventually ppl will stop buying retros if thats the only thing out their so JB would die a quick death if they didnt come up with new ideas like this..come on so called “sneakerheads” open your minds and quit bashing everything JB does…thats the only way you will continue to see retroes too and it makes the retroes more special if every1 doesnt have all of the same shoes as one another
