Air Jordan IX Black/Orange – 2010 Release
Headlining 2010’s optimum releases will be top retros and one them will be the Air Jordan 9 in a new colorway. The Air Jordan IX is perhaps one of the most underrated Jordans from the line. The 9 was the shoe that did not get any playtime on the court after MJ announced his retirement from the league in 1993 although getting some exposure during his time with the Birmingham Barons. A black leather upper is set off with a granulated 3M material and white sole only to be accentuated with a orange Jumpman logo. According to osneaker, these will hit accounts next year so stay tuned for more updates to follow.

I’m a big IX fan and always have been but these… idk? I like them, but winter time is when most of us break out our black heat and the white soles on these will jack that up for sure!

ibehi: What, no I don’t do too many SB’s but I will wear em from time to time. But I said accents my dude, like maybe the stiching not a whole other part of the shoe. I’m intitled to my opinion and I’ll take the powders over these to quick. These are better then the Olives, but I still think this is another JB half-bake.

Unpopular Opinion: These>>>Powder Blues. I think people jus get caught up in OGs colorways that they never give new colorways a chance. Powder Blues are dope, dont get me wrong, but the hint of yellow/”orange” is jus too sick. And maybe these arent better than the Powder Blues, but ppl gotta stop acting like OGs are the be all and end all for Jordans. Give the new CW’s a chance.

^ good point boogie williams but I just won’t have the money to cop them. I’ll have enough for one pair of retro 9’s and the powder blues look better not because there o.g but I don’t have any powder blue kicks and i can look so beyond fresh in them. all black is a common color to buy.

One of those ‘take it or leave it’ pairs. If they hit the $55 mark on the sale rack then I would consider, otherwise there are just too many other pairs I need in my life.

I can honestly say that I can’t see these on anyones feet. Don’t get me wrong as much as I would like to like these I just don’t. The shape looks funny and the color placement just looks funny. Look at the nubuck 12’s, the shape was on point as well as the quality and they are on sale for 120 with plenty of sizes left. I copped mine on ebay for 110 shipped. Now you can’t tell me these will fly off shelves in a week or two, cause they wont.
