Alright… I get it now! I still remember my first pair of Reeboks that rocked the flag on the side back in 5th grade. So many of you are talking about rocking these in elementary and what not… like when the sneaker bug first hit ya! I’m in my 30’s and I guess since I was fresh out of H.S. when theses dropped… these stunk! But if they were my first pair rocking a jumpman then I might think a little differently. When JB launched I had years under my belt already that made me a little more discerning. So, I get it and can appreciate your fond memories of these. I do agree that the Team J.’s that looked similar to the 12’s and had the red bubble jumpman on the ankle are a lot better than these (circa 97/98 I think).

I remember these making me feel so official in elementary school. Moms came home one day and said “here” face lit up like crazy and I wore em to school the next day when we had an “in school sleepover” (something u can’t do nowadays) I laid em by my pillow that night thinkin one of my classmates would take em.

^^^^^^ Definitely agree with you 4DRUMZ, THESE KICKS WERE “HOT GARBAGE” BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL!!!!! (I had to retro my diss just to get it right)
The best team J’s were the ones that looked like the 12’s they came in black and white those were fly.

SERIOUSLY… REALLY… SERIOUSLY… ????????? When these dropped as the flagship for JB I couldn’t help but think, “These SUCK so bad that it can only get better from here”! SERIOUSLY, ya’ll need to get out of nostalgia-land because if we’re all brutally honest… they’re not that good… they’re just the first! Ok, from a more critical view… yeah, the contrast stitching doesn’t work!

Ahhhhh….I had those black/blu joints in High school. Oh…WTF is it with the stitching? ..I will have to die that BS black. JB!..ur blowing it..as usual this yr
