Air Jordan Spizike – New Colorway
If you heard through the grapevine that a hot tracklist of new colorways of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike is dropping next year then you could say that we’re “rasin” awarness of what to look for in 2010. While this new colorway may be reminescent of the popular Air Jordan V “Grape” colorway, the shoe also features other popular Air Jordan design cues and hues that makes this shoe too big of a deal to limit to just one name.
Other notable features aside from the new emerald/purple hints on the upper is a speckled midsole, a translucent outsole, and white elephant print in all the right places. No need to bust grapes but with this much going on in one shoe, you can safely dub this Spiz’ike what ever may come to mind. Release is geared toward a summer launch date next year for a retail price of $175. Images via osneaker

I guess I’ll be the first commentor to jump on the other bandwagon and say that I’d rock these. I’ve seen much worse from JB recently and these shouldn’t be bunched with that…

Ummmmm… these don’t look as good as I thought they would. And they don’t seem as “grape” as I thought they would be either.
i have enough spiz’ike already, what i need is the green colorway, and the gold european exclusive. And this is not grape inspire at all, its just another spiz’ike which is aigh for whoever who want it.

how in the hell are these “grape” spizikes? when was the last time the grape colorway had red? leaning towards passing, the fresh since 1985 are much better than these.
The looked better in the pic on the foot but from these images…not so much and why do they keep putting random colors on the kix (eg the red lace lock or the blue on the 1985 joints )

I must say the outsole is dope and the midsole too. But the the rest is crap! we need quality JB. The red accent on the 23 and the red lace lock dosent do anything. How is it grape inspired? The blue jumpman was that a manufacture mistake?

i like spizikes and love grape v’s (who doesn’t), but these don’t do anything for either of them. i’m sure it seemed like a brilliant idea on paper, but it just doesn’t tickle my fancy.

How are these the grape spizikes, when they look nothing like the grape V’s? there no purple midsole, no emerald green like that. So basically you have to wear shorts or cuff the shit out of your jeans just to show a “grape” tongue. nice JB, good one!
