Air Jordan XX3 Black/ Red “Real Pics”
Last Friday we posted pictures of the black/red Air Jordan XX3 from the Slam Magazine. It wasn’t the best images, but they definitely gave us all an idea of what to expect. Now one week later we have real pics of the black/red Air Jordan XX3. The AJXX3 has been the main topic in sneaker conversations as of lately. The white colorway received mixed feelings while the black/red will probably get a standing ovation.
Everyone likes black and red on Air Jordans right? At least that’s what I thought. You be the judge and check out the pics after the jump. Anyhow, Air-Randy manages to break the news pics once again.

Black & Red always looks so freaking good together…
These Bred’s are very nice, but I still like the White’s better. The White’s look ‘more classy’ to me.
Non-the-less, the Bred’s are dope, with a clean and agressive finish.
Overall, they both get two thumbs up from me.
I do however hope that JB does not release a TON of colorways for the XX3. I think they ruined the XX2 by releasing SO MANY colorways. And they ALMOST ruined the XX…
Keep it simple JB! Release 3-4 colorways TOPS! Don’t get all color-happy on us and start dropping “city-pack” this, and “super-hypo-color” that…
1. White’s
2. Bred’s
3. Carolina’s/Columbia’s
4. MAYBE a ’special’ Olypic or MJ Favorite color pair…MAYBE

And like I said before, I think we’re all just a little upset to say goodbye to the Air Jordan. I know I am. I don’t think another shoe series has affected/influenced me so much.
Nothing else compares, in my eyes.
I just gotta start looking elsewhere, but it’s hard to fall in love again.

honestly hard to say like one better than the other one.
the white ones have grown on me and i actually like the stitchin on it better than the the black one’s.
but BRED cant never go wrong with Jays. and a hint of gold. the bottoms look akward with the blue dots…[or is it just me seein things]
i agree with jaime tho keep em at a limited amount of colors.

Honestly…Not really feeling them and Ill tell you why; Two things..The white diamond or signatures (or whatever those are on the sides) looks kinda cheesy with the red piping on the sneaker. The second this is the gold upper on the tongue. It goes against the entire look of the sneaker. Also (sorry three things) I thing its either suede or nubuck material, It makes the black seem like a dull black; I think if they used a shinier black or glossier black the overall sneaker would have come out much better. I can say that I like it better then the whites, but again I need to see it in person…
everyone is raving bout the blk/reds, it may be cause im just into white kicks but i think these look silly, the contrasted stitching just doesnt look right to me, the red line kills em, i think. but i do like the xx3 overall & i just got myself a plane ticket to NY for January 24-25 so i can sit in the cold for the Top 23’s. The ticket was only $50, Spirit Airlines $9 club is great. Anyone from NY on here gonna be there? niketown that is… peace yall
the black/red is a classic colorway but in this case I would actually go with the white ones(the AFJ 12 black/reds is fresh… hinthint).
they dont look so good from behind:S they look better than on the magazine pics. hopefully they will grow on me:P
I think everyone will have a surprise when they see them in person(I havent but I just count on them surprising me for the shoes sake)
the only thing I really like(maybe there will be more I like in the future) is the sole!

Of course the black/red Js will always look better than most of the other colors. I can’t say I really like the XX3 but this color is the best I’ve seen. Give me the breds over any Jordan color. I still don’t know how to feel about the details, it will take some getting use to. The XX3 is general will have to grow on me. Thanks for the pics.

ehhh im still not really liking….i feel jaime about the colors tho and they should def. make a white/columbia pair. but def not make any stupid city pack colors cuz that is killin the 22. that print on the side is what i have the biggest problem about..and does any1 know why they changed it up for the breds instead of keeping it jordans signature? will they be diff for future colorways?

THE XX3 IS GRAVY BUT THEY LOOK LIKE SUM LAME ASS T MACS. THE COLOR WAY IS ALWAYS ON POINT, BUT THEM WHITE ONES GOT A COUPLES ISHAS IN THEM MS ON THE SIDE GOT TO GO. Wow that was quick. Much better intake than the pics taken from Slam Mag. They still remind me of kicks that’s already came out before. I like the 23 on the tongue and the black/red always helps out. The XV is ugly but they look okay in black/red, even the XIX. I would like to get a pair of the 23s signed by MJ. Put them in a glass case and call it a day.
I like these better, but I can’t see myself buying these…I hope whoever camps for the Top XX3’s gets them, you guys are true diehards. G, off-topic, but how in the heck does Air-Randy get all these shoes so early??? No e-hate, but if my memory serves me correctly, JB really comes down hard on people that sell shoes and samples as early as he does. This leads me to think that either he has a super good and super sneaky connect, or his shoes are fake…somebody school me!

I totally agree with Jaime (as always), you made some good points. JB killed the 22, and I hope they only release a handful of colorways of the 23. And it’s so hard to say goodbye. I also feel what C Brown was saying, the black does come off a bit dull, but it might look different in person.
$50 plane ticket to NYC? OKKK, that’s what’s up. Yo Jar school me on this Top 23 event if you don’t mind.

nikehead - I’m with you. I’m still not sold on these as far as rocking them, but for what they stand for I’ll get a pair. Mainly for collectors purpose, but I seriously doubt I’ll wear them. I wish I could answer the other questions.
kidmag - The gold really is pointless unless it has some type of important meaning behind it. Dre, the 23 reminds me of several shoes from the past. AF1 G33K they still growing on me too.

C Lo - Black/Red on Jordans is like salt on food. It just makes it better.
DJ and anyone else that wants to know - It’s hard to say how and where Randy gets his samples. However they are NOT fake. Once you find a “low key” connect it’s on and poppin. I think Randy is located in China or something like that. Nike has factories in China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. The people that work their find loop holes just like any other job. How hard is it to take stuff that’s made in abundance? I know a guy overseas that gets samples and some stuff is harder to get than others.
All I’m saying is if you know the right people in the right places it’s not hard. Now I must say it must be a BIG loop hole cuz the Jordan sample thing didn’t get out of hand until the Military Air Jordan 4. Let me back track a mintue. 1st you only saw samples in size 9. This stuff was mainly coming straight from Nike rep’s. In the past you saw size 9 Jordans, Nike Runners, Nike Retro, etc. Samples came in size 9 (mens) size 7 (wmns), and 3.5y (GS/Boys). That was the common size for samples. However that got out of hand and Nike wasn’t feeling that. So this year you don’t really see as many samples like you did in the past. Don’t get me wrong you see them, but not like you use to.
Samples use to be all over eBay, NT, ISS, etc. Now you see samples pop up every blue moon. Now Nike isn’t has loose with the samples as they use to be. They still exist, but it’s a lot harder to obtain and reps don’t have as much freedom as they use to.
OK, now if you look at the current sample stuff it comes in all types of sizes and not just 9. That stuff is coming straight from a Nike factory, and from what I was told Nike doesn’t actually own the warehouses. School me if I’m wrong! Anyhow the stuff he is getting is def not coming from a Nike rep like the samples in the past. He has a better connect. Notice different kicks get made in different places, and in order to get the kicks super early you have to know someone in that country.
If you can recall the Transformers Trainer III was 1st leaked by Footurama. The people that run that site are located in Indonesia, and that’s where the Trainers were made. Ohhhh, now it’s starting to make sense. Think about it, you never saw Randy or Marqueesole with the Trainers. Instead you see them with stuff that’s made in China. Jordans, SB Dunks, CB34, etc. Think about it!
Nike/Jordan Brand can’t do anything about him selling the stuff on his site. They can be mad, but that’s it. However maybe they have some pull overseas…hmmm who knows.
I’m going to close here, but just know this is an overseas matter. It’s really hard for Nike to control this issue unless they start making all the shoes in OR (yeah right).
No I’m not putting them on blast, cuz you’ll still never get their connect. This my friends was just a brief lesson on the underground game. I’ll be working on some new stuff for 2008, and I think everyone is going to like it.

you know what else I’m not feeling about the breds….how that huge space shows up between the argyles…it kinda throws the shoes off to me atleast. and I’m not feeling the gold on the breds…but what other jordan shoe have they totally switched up whats on the side? other than maybe the 11’s when they made the patent leather and then that crappy other type i can’t think of anything else…and g-roc i hope you got my e-mail about the sneaker showcase in cleveland b/c i want a buncha ppl to show up to that in march ahah…you know i’ll be there for sure!!!

The gold… stinks! I retract my comment left on the SLAM leak post of the breds… side-to-side the white/black/red get my vote now. I’ve concluded they’re a classic/modern J hybrid in style!
Side note ~ knowing that the only retro J’s will be in the 23 packs I’ve noticed that the other Nike retro’s set to release are slamming this year! Maybe this isn’t a bad idea to back off and focus elsewhere. Plus, the Jordan AF hybrids are sweet and Brand Jordan is really getting somewhere with the (.5) issues. The 12.5 is tight!

These are ok jordans but retro jordans arent suppose to be just ok they are suppose to be the hottest sneaker out and these will not be the hottest out when they drop and that is really sad because i thought he was going to hit us with something crazy.
The black ones aren’t as bad as the sample picture… I can actually see myself rockin a pair of them

the shape/mold of the shoe is dope but the side panel is UGH.it looks like they just gave up and ran out of ideas….color scheme is cool,but i would have rather seen a plane side panel then a GAP sweater design on the side of the shoe…i’ll pick up my pair from the outlets

these is hot. im sorry the blue limited joints commin out i am not payin 230 beans. jordan think niggaz in the hood get cake like him. but these is nice. like some of yall said he cood have lost the gold and did somethen different wit the tounge. and the area around the ankle looks like it might rub up against u causin slight uncomfort
