looks like a great basketball shoe…
not bad, but there’s just something about those grey loops that throws the whole feeel of the shoe off.
ayo g-roc, do you know if that argyle has some kinda special meaning to it or not? i mean i can make out some m’s and j’s, but i just wanna know if i’m lookin to much into it.
I heard that “argyle” print on the side along with that prounced stiching around the shoe was native american inspired. I don’t know this for sure, but I do know that Phill Jackson brought alot of native american philosophy and flavor into the teams he coached. He would go as far as to use peace sticks of some sorts to drive away evil spirits. Not sure if thats where it comes from, but clearly Jordan had his share of exposure to this.
When i think about it…these remind me of the old signature shoes that Latrell Sprewell had with both Converse and AND1.
In the overall shape and especially the shape of the midsole.

At First, it didn’t look like much, but then when i saw the close up pix, i was surprised at how much detail went into these. Even so, i’m not really diggin the shoe tho.

Jordan Brand just doing what they want with the XX3, that’s good AND bad. These favor the Adidas KG’s a lil bit to me, but it’s give or take with these like the other XX3’s except for the grey/univ. blue high’s which are a MUST
Never was a big fan of AJ Low’s(low ankle support and BBall never agreed w/me)…but these are really nice.
I’d consider these for wear w/shorts in the Spring; AFTER the Mid’s, countdown packs, and ZF95’s.

On the BBall subject, I will admit that if anyone comes CLOSE to MJ’s ability/talent on the court, it’s gotta be Kobe. But MJ is currently second to none.

Although I must say, i LOOOVVEEEE the Kobe II ST “Orcas”…those are one of my favorites kicks, true talk. Great comfort (crazy Zoom Air support), plus a DOPE look/design and use of tuff leather. The black leather is strong yet smooth, just like Kobe’s game. Not to mention that Patent leather toe-box. Looks fresh, and gives the kick and ledgendary AJ XVI feel.

2. i really dont like the side stitching at all or the designe on this one. i seen pics of these earlier last week but G you killd it these are very good quality!
nah.. dissapointed with the 23 I must say. all og the shoes look fukcedup from behind.:( some better than others but not at all a fresh looking shoe.. maybe I will play ball in these and I think these would be nice to wear in the summer when you planning to do some “sportish activitees”:p but nahnahnah… JB could have done alot better. maybe they could have redone the spizike’s to a new model with different sole and a bit more modern look and BAAAM maybe you would have had the sneaker over all sneakers… huffameg
