By now, we’ve all heard mixed opinions regarding the look of the Air Jordan XX8, but have you heard about its performance?

Nightwing2303 puts together another in-depth sneaker review going over all aspects of how the shoe reacts on the court. At the end of the day, the Air Jordan XX8 was designed for performance as a basketball shoe so it is the most important factor.

Check out Nightwing2303′s breakdown of the Air Jordan XX8.

  3. shoe guy says:

what is funny is that folks are trying to hype this ugly shoe but still no one gives love to jordans 14 to 23 …lol

  4. Thanks for sharing!!! Really appreciate it! My first video – the Air Jordan 2009 Performance Review – was posted here as well… first site to ever show support.

  5. Executive says:

  7. JB says:

I dont care how good these are performance wise, the shoes are UGLY

  8. omar najeeb says:

    @JB…roger-that cap’n!
While i’d rather not be wearin a shoe that’ll had m’dawgs barkin, most of us are into kix that we think look good. Raggedy @$$ jb ( yes I’m a fan tho, sue me) already puttin out disclaimers bout ‘performance being most important with this shoe. Man bleep them mofo 28s!!! Ill leave rite where I see em

  9. A Real Athelte says:

I doubt that any of the other commenters on this post play sports or are involved in any competitive activity at all. These ARE performance based shoes. Imagine how ridiculous swimmers would sound if they wore board shorts instead of speedos because “it looks cooler”. REAL ATHLETES put performance as the priority! These shoes are loaded with innovation and any real basketball player at any age should appreciate it. If fashion is all that matters they could take the court in some Louboutins and be the coolest looking of all. As if any competitive athelete would say, “oh they are light, lock down my ankle well, and have excellent cushion and court feel, but I’ll take something cooler (or more retro) looking instead”. In sports function is 100x more important than being stylish.

somebody will pull these off on the casual tip

  11. Lem says:

@sirfreshalot^^^^^I will be that somebody sir! I actually like the shoe and see know problems with it. The out of the box look is what appeals to me the most.

  12. Lem says:

    ^^^ NO problems with it.

  13. Hyper says:

Im feelin em dude and i dont ball much but i see no issue with collecting thee FIRST XX8 that came out and sittin em on ice. might even wear em. I respect the performance factor as well it sounds comfortable which is of no consequence because one thing a lot of “life-style” kicks lack is comfortability. Having said that, 250 price tag really make me consider my options.

  14. gotjordans says:

For $250.00, it still came apart if you got stepped on… Sheesh!

  15. armythug says:

I like the design. In my opinion, I would only wear them with pants. Would look cool with some jeans. Not any of that skinny jeans bs.

  16. Cjax says:

I will catch em at the outlet store this summer….
