Alpha Air Jordan 1 – Spring 2010 Releases
The Air Jordan 1 will receive minor alterations before its retro release for January 2010. The closer look reveals that the Alpha Air Jordan 1 features a segmented midsole, perforated leather midpanel/toebox, and a ribbed synthetic ankle collar for added support. The double-stacked midsole may feature a Zoom Air Unit hence the altered midsegment for better performance on the court. Black contrast stitching is also included around the toe. The first model in the black/varsity red/white colorscheme will release in January and two more colorways will follow in March with a retail price of $125. Enjoy the pics after the jump!

Yeah I agree they do look very utilitarian and look real sexy, but my only concern is the price. Is $125 too much to ask for a dunk/Jordan 1 beater?

Being that I’s are my favorite shoes, I’m gonna have to say, these suck horse nuts. These don’t look like AJKO’s THANK JESUS….PLEASE DO NOT EVER RETRO THE AJKO….LEAVE IT ALONE…..,and they don’t look like I’s….I don’t know what these are……apart from ugly. They look pretty decent. I might cop depending on how they look in person. So far I like the Wht/Red/Blk’s and was leaning on the NC’s. I all ready got the ‘01 BRED’s + Ryl/Blue I’s.
Easy pass for me the last AJ1 are going to be the 60 + pack….them im done….No more 1’s
Its obvious the continued rehashing of the 1s is due to the Increasing success of dunks, but to pimp the 1s like this is just wrong and it doesn’t seem they plan on stopping

I love when JB does stuff like this. They saturate the shelves with average Js and I end up copping them for 50% at FTL, FTA and CHAMPS. This past weekend I copped the Barkleys & Nubuck 12s for $135. LOL. Just bring the rd/wht 12s, spacejams and rd/blk 6s already.
MT called it before I had a chance… The shoe isn’t a big deal perse’, but it’s cool how they incorporated a taste of the XX3 with the I. …And it was accomplished without making another nasty hybrid or fusion.

Dunno what ya’ll are bitchin about. These shoes are the most comfortable of all the Jordans I own. Its nice to have something new that harks to the I’s but isn’t an exact copy, which in my mind would be ridiculous. Normal people can’t affor the I’s even if you can find them, when i wear these I am paying tribute to the shoe that started it all. If you wanna pay tribute and be really uncomfortable doing it then wear your retros or your originals….I cant wait for the R/W/B colorways this spring! Oh and if you have a toddler and wanna match I just bought my kid a size 4 in these and they are excellent quality unlike most toddler shoes and come in a box that looks just like mine lol.
