Another Shop Gets Busted – Say No to Fakes Vol. 7
Some people never learn, or perhaps some people think they won’t get caught. A shop selling fakes in Souderton, PA was busted for selling fake Nikes and other counterfeit goods. Store owner Justin C. Coale, 28, was charged on Tuesday with selling counterfeit Nike sneakers after Souderton police seized more than $10,000 worth of fake prodcts (114 pairs of fake Nike’s)  from his store. The arrest was part of Nike’s ongoing nationwide crackdown on counterfeiters, according to Bob Sander, an assistant district attorney for Montgomery County, who is prosecuting the case.
Police say Coale was buying Nike Air Force 1 and Air Jordan sneakers for $25 to $30 a pair in New York City and selling them for twice that amount or more. Authorities said they bought a pair of Air Force 1s, which retail at $75, for $60 at the store. Coale, who faces 41 years in prison and $85,000 in fines, said he’s running a “legit” business. via mcall

Nike is really cracking down on a lot of shops… now they need to find all those liquor stores and gas stations that sell fakes.

The problem really is that most of these shops that sell fake kicks do it under the banner of “consignment” shops (much like the very legit flight club)….its almost impossible to prosecute those kinds of business because they are not retailers just selling for others…(another reason ebay will never police its people)…sad so sad..

i actually feel bad for the owner!!! 41 years is a lot of years in jail, i would understand if he was the one producing the fake shoes, but he was just trying to sell them!!! nike needs to go directly to the source!!!
^1 year, 1 month, 1 day in jail is too long, but 41 years is hella long for this type of act. I feel he should suffer, but not 41 years worth. Real talk, they prob won’t give him that long and I doubt if he even goes to jail.

I just wanna make this clear I don’t think snitching is cool by any means, however this is a special case, for someone whos spent over $30,000.00 on authentic nike products down to someone who works hard and spends a paycheck on Real kix, It’s not right. Plus it puts a major black eye in the sneaker culture. Like the other day this DAP had on a, for St. Patty day, a green Dodger Hat, Green and white Izod shirt, jeans, and (SMH)Green with the yellow mesh AJ4’s. I was like WTF!!!! Let’s not get too moral in defense of Nike. I mean they only use sweatshops to produce these sneakers and mark them up ridiculously. Last time I checked the Black and Red XX3’s of mine I love so much cost me almost $200 and it cost them like 2,3 dollars to make. Havin said that business is business, copyrights are copyrights they have a right to go after dude. From a consumer’s point of view if you know they’re fake don’t support them period.
