This is supposed to be Apple’s next generation computer, and really good idea. What it actually is, is a giant PDA with a stupid name, and it will be just as popular (not very).
Remember, Apple doesn’t pull out all the stops on its first release. Everything that the iPad doesn’t do now, it WILL do in the future. Think about it, compare the iPhone 3GS to first generation?? lol Apple will make u doubters and haters eat your words.

soooo my understanding is that like 4DRUMZ said “Mega-iPod touch! That’s what it is!” so I really don’t see what the big deal is. I guess it’s good for ready E-books also, but I still don’t get the hype.

good for airports, vacations, and long car rides but its over priced and doesnt replace a laptop. Kind of in the notebook terriotry if you ask me but it looks better and is more futuristic. The hype beasts will definately purchase and will be mad in 4-6 months when the cheaper better version comes out and they have to pay full price to upgrade….
THIS IS TSG. this is not the G4 channel. if I wanted to hear non stop about the ipad then I would watch that. I’m looking for the next fresh sneaker to cop. Apple is nothing but money hungry chumps and once someone figures out a voice activited Music player where you say the song you want and it automatically paids, Apple will be chillin on the side on the road with Gm, chrysler .
I’m w/ 4DRUMZ, but I like to use the term “XXL ipod touch” instead of mega. LOL. I’m not a fan of the ipad given that I have my iphone and computer so there is no need a middle man so to speak. However, as much as I don’t see it as a necessary device all you peeps who think this thing is going to flop are crazy. apple will sell the sh1t out of this device.

Hey, I gotta be honest ya’ll… TSG is set apart from all the other sites because of news like this, blogs, THE COMMUNITY, posts on Foamposite tattoo’s… all that! We’re a people and this thing is a cultural thing! There’s a lot more to the sneaker culture than release dates and pictures!

OK i know a lot of people don’t understand what the ipad can do ? So think of it as a touch screen computer that you can check your email, surf the web, Ebooks and all apps on your iphone sync to it plus all new ipad only apps. I got it so when my girl goes on my mac i have a backup to check out TSG and all my sneaker blogs. Check one out you will change your mind.
