Beesy B – adidas Up
adidas, adidas, adidas, is all you see in Atlanta nowadays. Don’t get me wrong, of course people still wear Nike, Jordan Brand, Puma, New Balance, Asics, Converse, etc. However, as of late I’ve noticed how popular adidas is in Atlanta. I’m not sure about other cities, but as for ATL, adidas seems to be the go-to brand for footwear and apparel. adidas Originals recently inked a deal with Detroit/G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean, so we expect the demand to increase for adidas Originals product.
Back to Atlanta. There’s a hip hop group called Travis Porter based in ATL, and they influence a lot of the kids and young adults with their passion for adidas. Just like Run DMC, Travis Porter made a song dedicated to “adidas“. Another artist from Atlanta, Beesy B, also released a song that pays homage to the three stripes brand. Wow, what an awful song. I’m in Chattanooga, about two hours north of Atlanta, and adidas runs the streets here right now. Yeah, everybody cops the new Jordans, and there’s a few dudes who rock Nike runners and trainers still, but adidas are what’s hot right now. The most popular model is the Samoa. Why? It’s $60 and comes in a million colors. Cheap, easy to switch up, and they look good enough. Perfect recipe for popularity these days

Not really my type of music at all, but I’m glad he reppin the city. Lately, I’ve been noticing alot of people rocking adidas too.
