Hunted down my pair late last night. Normally I’m a 10.5 or 11 in AF1′s, but the only spot in the city that had them only had a 10 left. DAMN!!!!!!
Wifey said take the trip downtown to check’em out and make a collection decision.

Tried on those puppies CAREFULLY not untying them to keep them pure…And they FIT! I don’t know why they fit, but I copped them and road the subway home with a sneaker drawstring bag in my hand and a smile on my face OLD SCHOOL STYLE BABY!

As for the runs themselves, they’re beautiful. The detail and craftmanship is perfect. I might like the insoles more than anything
They used PREMIUM materials to keep the cost down for regular people. Most people wouldn’t drop 200+ on a pair of collectible sneaks like heads like us. By the way, only SUPREMES have screw laces. These joints didn’t need them.

They used PREMIUM materials to keep the price reasonable. With the procedes going to HBC nike didn’t want to make 200plus sneaker that only a head would buy.

Every shoe is not for everybody no shoe now is made with good leather anyway, unless you spend top dollar at an ID spot be adidas or nikes…This shoe is hot for me I had to get em BHM is not for everybody either so before you let someone else tell you whats HOT let them buy em for you…KEEP THE LOVE UP FOR THE SNEAKER FRESHNESS NOT THEY HYPE

BRINX i’m glad you are happy with them because i sure as hell wasn’t i walk in my local spot last night they got my 10.5 from behind the counter and i was very disappointed, the leather used was a normal low quality aft1 leather just lasered with writing, the laces that should have had screw on metal tips that premium AF1′s have did not have that, and the red and green used was just too bright IMO, the only way they where able to pass these off as premiums was with the leather sock liner, now i will say this if you are an AF1 head then these will do they are better then alot of the AF1 I have seen lately but not worth 135.00 IMO

no problems or beef that’s just how i felt about the shoe, I would have picked up the grey griffey’s but they will not have them until tonight so I copped the “worth every penny” t-shirt and rolled
