214 Dunks by Blake “Air” Griffin
The Blake Show is officially over, and now everyone’s attention is focused on the 2011 NBA Playoffs. However, we can’t forget about the amazing season from the LA Clippers rookie, Blake Griffin. Seriously, Blake Griffin has to be one of the most exciting players to watch since… well, we’ll leave that up to you. Besides the fact that Blake is a monster on the court, he’s mostly known for his dunks. Blake won the 2011 Slam Dunk contest with his car jump dunk, which KIA reminds us of everyday via their televised commercial. To top the 2010-2011 NBA season off, Air Blake finished the season with a total of 214 dunks. You can see all 214 dunks by watching the video after the jump. Let me the first to say this and Blake Griffin is unreal. 200+ DUNKS in one season. You know you’re something special when dunks are being recorded as a stat nowadays. Lol 400+ points scored just on slam dunks. Unreal…Nike sponsor him already!

^obviously he doesnt deserve his own brand but yes a sig shoe will come in the next few seasons.
Not too sure bout Nike. I think Blake should settle elsewhere when it comes to the kicks. He’ll look good in a newly designed RBK ATR series. Better designers and all, he’ll look good alongside John Wall at Reebok.
You know he is going to go with NIKE unless someone can give him more $$. We all know Nike is tght with contracts and tend to lose more stars than they sign… example KG, Jason Kidd etc. Keep killinem in LA Blake you’re the only thing Clipper fans have to watch. GO LAKERS!
…oh and don’t forget D. Sanders.. still pissed they released the show and removed his logo and numbers on it.

I still can’t believe he won the dunk contest. My boy Derozan should have at least made it into the finals. Derozan got a 44 on a between the legs dunk (8 attempts) and Blake Griffin scored a 46 on a PlAIN WINDMILL dunk (8 attempts). Ibaka should have got 50 on his first dunk but he still wouldnt have made it to the second round

1. Im Pretty sure ‘Air’ has all ready been taken. And 2. Aint got nothing on D. Rose… see that reverse jam against the knicks all by himself after a steal. He does unbelievable things, and out of nowhere… without breaking a sweat, as if it aint no thang. Too GOOD for a dunk contest.
