Bo Jackson Nike Air Trainer SC High “OG Colorway” Coming in Fall 2009
One of my good ekin buddies told me Nike was going to re-release the most sought after Bo Jackson Air Trainer SC High colorway next year, but I honestly didn’t want to believe him. Well, Nike’s catalogs never lie and this release was spotted in their Fall 2009 catalog. Can we say Holy Grail status for many of Nike’s OG followers? This colorway first hit the scene back in 1990 and Nike retro’d them in 1998. Since 98 you literally had to check eBay everyday waiting for a pair to pop up. You took a high risk of them cracking once worn if you bought a pair of the OG’s, so the 98 retro was your best bet if you planned on wearing them. Trust me when I say it hurts when you drop $300+ and as soon as you rock them they fall apart.
However, come Fall 09 Air Trainer freaks, OG Nike heads, and of course hypebeasts will be able to scoop several pairs of the white, light zen grey, orange, and concord Trainer SC Hi’s. That was actually the original colorway, but the new info can be seen on the image above. $105 is all you need next Fall when these drop. This news makes me excited and sad at the same time (you can only imagine how many pairs I have). Normally I don’t report on news on a personal tip, but if you know me then you know how I feel about Bo’s.
I could go on and on about Bo’s. If you want to battle when it comes to Bo’s just let my secretary PJ know and we can get it crackin. Ok, I’m done with all my Bo’ness. According to the info provided, Nike will do some big things for the Bo Jackson fans next year. Time tells everything!

I already have several pairs on deck, so do I really need to get excited? Seriously, even though I already have them this news still makes me happy. I guess I’m happy for all the people thats been waiting on Nike to retro these. Watch people that have the slightest clue beast over these just like they did with the Hot Lava ATCII’s. It’s cool, but I’ve always said buy what you like. Jaya do you see this son?? Trainer heads stand up!!!

I just started collecting jays in 05 but been on the bo’s since JR high back in 92. Plan on coppin every 10.5 I can find.

yo G…I also got the ’97 retro black/grey joints, sz 9. And they are wearable…no cracks, little creases. still got the full NIKE AIR on the insole…if you are interested in another pair, holla at me. I know how you are about the Bo’s…can’t get enough of them.

yo G like I posted back in the XX3 post, these kicks is what started me off on my sneaker addiction I still remember rocking these the first day of school in 4th grade 1990, and then when I got my first job in 1998 at Footlocker they were retroed, and now today on my birthday I wake up to the email of that same pic, and almost started crying(real talk) I said I was getting 5 pairs, but I think I may have to get 10. lol, hands down my favorite sneaker and my favorite colorway
So excited I’m back again. postar “hopefully they bring back the black and greys ” Are you talking about the Black and grey pair. Or the Black And Silver. If your referring to the black and silver their suppose to drop in Dec but the 34 won’t be on the back. I need another white grey and blue pair. Another white grey and red. On the hell with it. I will replace all the O.G. Colorways. I’m so exicted I might come back and post again G. I remember when I first told you. You thought it was a joke. You Know i don’t play with the O.G. Sc trainer III. (to those not in the knowing. this was the name when they first released) and was changed later on.

i wanted this colorway when they dropped in the 5th grade , but had to settle for a white wit like a orangeish red and grey colorway plus mines was kid sizes so it had the nike air wit the swoosh on back instead of just the NIKE. still raw though if yall remember!!
Holy shit I just teared. Bo’s might be the greatest kicks of all time, definitely up there. Melo I saw the OG black and greys on ebay a few weeks ago deadstock for like $300 which to me is a steal. If they weren’t 8.5 I would have em in my closet right now.

I have been wanting these since they came out and my parents said no. I couldnt break down and buy a pair on ebay so I am thrilled that I am going to be able to sport these. Where is the best place to get them when they go on the market? Can I just go to the mall and pick them up or what?

These were my fav shoes in high school! I had the black and grey Raider color ones with the #34 stitched on the back of it. If I knew how valuable they were, I wouldn’t have thrown them away or worn them so much =( I can’t even find the same ones I had on ebay either.
