Bow Wow signs with Starbury + Talks Jordan Brand & More – Interview
What the heezy? Something must have went sour with Bow Wow and Jordan Brand’s relationship. He went from being the Jordan King to signing with Stephon Marbury’s company “Starbury“. Talking about change!
This doesn’t make much sense to us. Don’t get it twisted, Starbury is great for what they represent (affordable kicks), but now Bow is joining the team? WOW, this just goes to show you never know what the future holds. I guess we won’t see anymore Air Jordan pickup videos anytime soon. Dang, and we were hoping to see Bow battle JD, Marcus Jordan, A.Powers, and Dallas Penn for the Jordan crown.
Bow states in this interview that he wants people to be able to afford his clothing and footwear. He also said his Starbury kicks have the same quality as a Jordan shoe. Watch the interview at the 6:45 mark for the scoop on his Starbury deal.
It only cost $26 to make a Jordan shoe…period. And they like $150 a pop.

Wow…that was uh…unexpected, but with all respect to the dude and the Starbury brand…does anyone care? Is Bow Wow still popping like that with the kids? Like is his following still as strong?
This economy has dudes being humble, I really wonder if everyone’s money situation was good we he have teamed up with Starbury. It makes him look bad because he was first talking about how he had so many kicks and now he’s saying he wants it to be affordable. I’ll give little dude credit though he’s smart so I’m sure this will be a success for him.
yes Jordans cost $26 dollars to make… but JB/Nike spend at least 80% profit on advertising and new research from what I heard. Although it’s beating a dead horse kinda argument about how overpriced Jordans are by now. No one is forced to buy them, they won’t make you play better, and even if you just wanted a shoe from JB at a reasonable price you could always go for a team Jordan, or go to an outlet mall. In the end I’m sure little bow wow is shit talking because a Rep at JB didn’t want to give him the latest ugly IV fusions early.

I think he did this because he didn’t want to get in a sneaker war between Marcus Jordan, I thinks it’s nice that he did this, but I don’t think this will cause him to act like a saint give away all his jordan collection. After a while, he’ll probably go back to his old self.

^^half of you that have commented are dumb@$s’s- Stephon Marbury came out with the Starbury brand to help less fortunate kids get a nice pair of b-ball shoes. pleanty of shoes are cheap to make, including nikes, yes thats the truth, and they do sell for much higher (profitable) prices, but nike is a company trying to make money, just like most companies. but starbury is trying to do something good for the kids by providing good quality, affordable shoes.
