i say donate fakes instead of burning them.. donate to soles4souls or any other organization that sends kicks to 3rd world countries (haiti, africa etc).. that way some kid who goes barefoot can have something to put on his feet.. just something to think about..

@Mr. Anonymous ~ Bro’… good thought! Honestly, donating busted shoes (fakes or not) don’t really help anyone. Most of those organizations only accept moderately/gently used shoes and then use financial donations to purchase low-cost (to them) footwear through manufacturers they partner with. @ everybody….these were beat to hell, that why I burned em…if they were in good enough condition to donate, I would’ve, I considered it. Then I thought how bad it would suck to receive these badly beaten, horribly constructed, fake sneakers….they were made partly of cardboard….yes, cardboard…..so all in all, I think I made a better choice in burning them, instead of givin somebody a shoe that would’ve just fallen right off their feet anyway….

In my bothers defense, he was an un-sneaker-educated sophmore in high school when he copped these…still not acceptable…LOL…but a little more understandable….and one more thing, how come everybody wants to talk about donating kicks after the earthquake in Haiti, but before that, nobody was talkin bout donating anything….just saying….people been strugglin before that, and there will always be people struggling….but destroying ONE pair of beat up, fake kicks isn’t hurting anyone….my two cents…

I’ve always been against burning shoes. I simply mentioned Haiti because that’s where the need is great. People need to keep in my mind that this “shoe game” is just that, a game. I understand the argument that “fakes kill the game” and ish like that, but burning shoes and hating on other people’s preference is ridiculous. Not everyone cares about the authenticity of their shoes and wear what they like. I give props to those people because they developed a truly unique style (even if I disagree with it). Besides, JB’s recent colorways and quality have been matched by these bootleggers anyway lol.
