Check My Footwork: Guess Who? Part 13

Check My Footwork part 13 takes it to Nigo’s famous brand. Until now this is the first time we have featured the bright and patent leather Bapes aka Bapestas. I know some people love Bapes and some people hate Bapes, but that’s just the way of the world. For years we have always heard the saying “You can’t please everyone”, and that’s the case with a lot of things in life. I honestly don’t have anything against A Bathing Ape, and I especially like the recently released DC Comics pack. Back to the point, we see that part 13 features someone rocking a red/yellow pair of Bapes. As you should know by now this could be anyone. Think about it and see if you got it right or came close after the jump.

Did you get it right? I surely hope so. It’s the underground artist that blew up like no other “Soulja Boy”. He was spotted rocking his favorite sneaker at his video shoot for ”Crank dat Soulja Boy“. He signed a deal with Mr. Collipark aka DJ Smurf, and word is Soulja Boy rocks real Bapes now. It’s kind of hard to tell by this pic, but what do you think? I have included a pic of the Bapes that I think he’s rocking.

Although this young dude gets hated on by many it’s obvious he has the #1 dance out right now. Even Beyonce was seen cranking that Soulja Boy at her concert. You may not like the song, but it’s pretty hard to hear it without wanting to do the dance. Peep the vid’s after the pic…

  3. It’s good to see people getting this one right. This one was easy, but I doubt this will be the easiest one. I’ve been wanting to feature Soulja Boy in Check My Footwork, but I couldn’t find a good pic of him in some Bapes.

    one of the most interactive posts i’ve seen here groc. good stuff. My first time hearing of soujia boy. and this dance. The beat is crazy HARD. I respect him for just rapping about dancing, and nothing else. This track is straight crunk. I could work to alot of south music i noticed. T.I >KING album noteably.
