Jordan Brand is tapping into the “Cinco De Mayo” colorway in 2009 with two Air Jordan 1′s. Cinco De Mayo which is Spanish for 5th of May. Both Air Jordan 1′s pay homage to Cinco De Mayo in which 4,000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and traitor Mexican army of 8,000 at Puebla, Mexico, 100 miles east of Mexico City on the morning of May 5, 1862.
The Cinco De Mayo Air Jordan 1′s will hit Jordan Brand accounts in May (of course). They will be available on May 2nd for $100.
