Casual sneakers anyone? Clae Footwear might be the brand for you and here’s a look at their Spring 2009 sneaker releases. Clae produced a hybrid collection of sneakers which offers both comfort and casual styles resulting into classic footwear. Their Spring ’09 drops consists of the Rollins (pictured above), Thompson, McQueen, Cousteau, and Whitman. Clae’s Spring ’09 collection is now available at Proper, so check with your local Clae dealers.

I really like Clae! They are a good fit for when you u want to look grown man and still have the comfort of a sneaker.

The Whitmans are cool but remind me of the WTAPs Vans from last year I think, they are hot but you gotta be a certain type of cat to pull the wingtips off.
I have two pairs of Russells (Caramel and Black), and I gotta say they are some of the most comfortable kicks I have ever rocked real talk.

Brands such as Clae are going to be the quintessential players in the sneaker industry for the next ~5 years.
Just watch. The past 2 or 3 years have been based ‘sole’ly about big bright colors, flashy designs, and all over print tees. The next trend is finally making it’s footprint.
Everyone is bored with the industry (you’ve probably noticed a decline in interest amongst you and your buddies). Classier brands with subtle dark designs such as NBHD, the boneyards collab, etc are becoming widely accepted, and soon enough the most common ‘hyped’ sneakers are going to be ‘sophisticated’, classier, and more ‘grown up’.

I like the romare, but I wanna see it in navy. Pic isnt working. Woulda also really like to see the shoe in burgandy, thats not a picture problem, it doesnt exist but I think it would be NICE.
