Converse Co* (Co Star) Sneaker Collection
Nike bought Converse, so no need to totally roast the design of the Co* (Co Star) Attache. However, I know some people will still feel obligated to drop a comment about how this is a Nike Blazer rip. True, the silhouette is basically the same as well as the ticket price, $70. The insoles read “Steal The Show”, so is a rant even necessary? We usually bash when it comes to sneaker design bites, but the Blazer itself is such a dope shoe it’s kinda hard to hate.
Co* is a community of like-minded individuals who are active, mobile, independent, creative human beings. They are a little different than everyone else and make the world a whole lot more surprising because of what they do and how they do it. That’s the mission statement for the Converse Co* Collection. I bet you did not know that the beloved nike blazer was a rip off of Converse Dr Jays All Stars and Pro Ked Pro Models and Puma Clydes at all did you so don’t say this shoe is a knock off if you know your history.

Heads Up is right, and these do look like Dr. J’s./Pro Leather (1976). Which is a shoe that I thought was kind of odd to retro since they were already making them anyway. But they put “Dr. J” back in the title for those. The key difference between those, and these is clearly the sole. Probably a pretty nice shoe. I doubt I’ll get them, because I’ve still got a white/green pair of Pro leathers sitting in my basement. Gotta tell you though, the black/white/red shoe definitely appeals to me.
