Converse Japan September 2010 Releases

| September 1, 2010 | Comments (4)

Converse continues to push the envelope of cool, in the land where sushi and Dance Dance Revolution are king. For the end of Summer, Converse Japan has some new takes on old classics, and a few with some minor updates. The one star is back with suede, dark grey and tan uppers. There is also a version with lizard scale print on a leather upper. The Chuck Taylor is back with grey and purple plaid uppers in high top, and low. There is another high top version with a rainbow streak on it.

There is yet another version with a woven upper, and wooden toggles on it, reminiscent of a raincoat. There are also two classic versions of the Chuck Taylor releasing, with a twist: they have black and pink nubuck uppers. But perhaps most interesting of all is the latest incarnation of the Converse Star Tech. This time around it releases in tan leather, almost reminiscent of workboots, but it has brown carpet-like material on the ankle applique, and in the collar, with yellow, and pink accents as well. One could assume that this release is for the ladies, based on that information. These shoes are available now at Converse Japan retailers.
