No offense taken, Starz. I have never agreed that Valentine’s day was a worthy holiday to get the special sneaker treatment. Besides, these shoes are meant to cater to the ladies, and I find it very unlikely that devoted Converse fans with testicles would buy these Chucks. That being said, the shoe on the far left in the main article image was just thrown into the “Valentine’s Day” collection. It actually has been out since October, and people who know Converse’s history know it’s the Converse One Star (one of the greatest shoes they ever made, by the way). A shoe famous for being worn by Kurt Cobain, when he committed suicide. Which is PART of the reason why Converse keeps bringing out Kurt Cobain shoes. The other part is, he wore them when he appeared on tv, and he wore Chucks in the “Smells like teen spirit” video as well. Do I have a pair of One Stars? You bet your ass I do. Are they red? No.

I only have one pair of All Stars. They’re pink and I rock them in the summer. And I agree, if you wear size 12, you shouldn’t be buying them..
