Everyone keeps talking about the weight of the shoe….any and everyone here who’s ever held a fake pair knows the big difference is the weight, especially on a fake that actually looks good (fake Raygun SB’s are a good example….asthetically they look real, but they’re a bit “light.” I know this cuz I got burned on a pair before I knew what was up….) Also, someone commented about how these looked fake….which all ties in what I’m about to write a book about lol.

About a month ago I ordered a pair of FAKE III’s off a site I KNEW was full of $hit, just to see what garbage I’d get in the mail, and to do what we just seen in this video…to do a side by side comparison, only in this case between a “real” shoe and a “fake” one. The III’s cost about $50 (LMFAO)…and I fully expected to simply never recieve a package from that company, or to get something so f*cked up I’d just laugh and toss em in the fire pit….$50 was cheap enough to take a chance at not getting anything…..well, two weeks later I got em….the box was TRASHED LOL, and the retro card was a poorly made copy, BUT!! guess what, the III’s look/feel 99.9% LEGIT—APART from being “light.” I did a side by side with my other III’s (These fakes were the black/cements, and mine are the retro Fire Reds, and they’re real of course) and apart from the shape of the tongue at the very top, the biggest difference is they are a bit lighter than the legit ones….actually, it’s the exact spots your man was talking about….the ankle padding in the fakes is thinner than the real ones. It was the same results as you just seen in this video….small diffences in some small places, but overall the same shoe. After doing my little experiment, my guess is Nike’s using alot of different production plants all over the place to make kicks, and some of these “real” retros are being made with the EXACT SAME materials/parts, and in the same plants, as the kicks that find their way on some of the sites that sell “fakes/variants.”

The point of this is, it’s a real shame that kids are gonna dump over $300 to get these thin, weak ass IV’s that are most likely getting made in some crappy sweatshop that’s pumping out other crappy J’s that get sold on fake sites….but honestly, we’ll never know the truth.

BTW, I gave the Rayguns and the III’s away to some kids who could give a f*ck less whether they were “real” or not…..I do NOT rock/support fakes at all, so PLEASE, if someone was gonna flame me for buying fakes, don’t waste your time…..I got em to do the comparison, not to actually wear lol.
