Culture Shoq x Asics Gel Lyte III

The first installment of the Trilogy Pack is set to release this Friday, July 31st. For Culture Shoq’s first collaboration from the Trilogy Project, Ronnie Fieg and the CS team wanted to go above and beyond their expectations. They wanted to present this shoe as a pack, a pack that will represent Culture Shoq for what they are fans of and what they believe in… Quality, style, and comfort.

The entire pack including the Gel Lyte III’s, Quintin hat, Culture Shoq tank-top, and Asics mesh bag will be going for a very reasonable $135. Limited to only 150 packs and will be sold exclusively at the David Z flagship store as well as the online shop this Friday July 31st at 10:00 am.

Yo Ronnie is SOOOO my dude….and he gets mad when I tell him…but Asics are kinda wack….actually really wack….I appreciate that he stays off the mainstream…he would never do a nike collabo…those Gold and Silver Wallabees (aka Clarks) and the re-emergence of the iconic Polo Cookies are incredible and the black tie Adidas (Gold Bar bday was stupid my dude) nuff said…..but please no more Saucornies or Asucks…the last still running joints pack was marked down to $30 bucks…FSR…stop it.

^ Asics are not bad at all. They have a bigger audience than you think. The $30 joints are just ugly. The “Super Blue’s” are hot!! (They almost out on them). People sleep on them because there is sooooo much attention put on the swoosh right now. It’s not for everyone, but I think Ronnie wants to support the other labels. It’s doest have to be all about the swoosh. Varity counts. I actually appreciate what he does. they may be some rough shoes he has in his portfolio, but I think there have been worse.

Not feelin’ these at all. I’m not a fan of white over earth tone colors like that on a shoe. Just looks weird to me. I’m going to wait for the other 2 in the pack.

^Nah I agree 10000%…your collection or movements cant be self contained or 1 dimensional..If they were we would never have a Supra or Clae kinda come from no where…My problem with Asucks is well..they suck…they are an average company, in terms of design, quality, etc…Asics have been around (to my knowledge anyway I could be VERY wrong) since the 80′s yet during that time no major development strategy, marketing, anything…Lables have to invest in there growth and exsitence (look at how irrelevant Reebok has become since the 80′s)…I commend him for taking a chance but stop with Asucks already…and if you like things that “POP” the NiceKicks (YO G why does Matt get all the love????Wheres your shine) is mostly red upper with white soles and silver patterns…they are okay…

    i thinks these look good

  6. 456wing says:

plus, a lot of college people at cal are in support of banning sweatshop labor thingy so they wouldn’t wear nike anyways. this beats all the crocs and new balance sneakers people are wearing
