Doernbecher Air Jordan 6 – New Pics
The Doernbecher Air Jordan 6 has been unofficially unveiled thanks to your typical internet leakage, so expect to see new pictures hitting the web every week. After the first wave of crispy images comes a new wave courtesy of FlightClub (not the consignment shop). These images provide us with another look at what’s to come from the Air Jordan portion of the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection.
If you’ve been bashing the design, keep in mind that these Air Jordan 6′s were designed by a child, so fall back with all the hate. No one is forcing you to buying these kicks, and the purpose of this project is to help raise money for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The Doernbecher Children’s Hospital is a leader in pediatric research, treatment and family centered care. This year’s patient designers are from cancer, neurosurgery, cardiology and nephrology programs.
No word on when the 2009 Doernbecher Freestyle Charity Collection will release, but you can depend on us to keep you posted. The other kicks have yet to leak which is pretty dope. A total of six kids (3 girls and 3 boys) were selected this year. One of the boys name is Jordan, so did he design the AJ6? Only time will tell.

The kid who designed this shoe definitely got skills the shoes are def worth grabbing considering the cause I would grab a pair if it wasn’t to much of a hassle
there unique so I like them I just wish they were a different material r if they were like a snow/water resistance proof lol

I wouldn’t say ugly, you gotta realize who designed this, a kid not a professional…an if it weren’t for a few areas like the suede and the lines on the blue this would be a dope colorway

Maybe Big Boi can grab a pair of these to rock with his Braves cap and ditch those fake a$$ VIII’s he got caught with awhile back. This shoe is for a good cause, and I am sure the shoes will be gone instantly. Let’s hope the money actually funds what it is supposed to. Maybe the young soldier who put this shoe together will grow up and be working at JB one day…

I Would purchase for the cause. The sneaker isn’t as bad you hypebeasts say it is. I Noticed the inside of the tongue consists of words lol. The left shoes tongue says “WHAT TIME IS IT ?” then the right shoes tongue says “GAME TIME” cool touch from the kid who did this.
I like these alot regardless of how limited they are or who created them. But big ups to the kid! Once again a kid creates a better colorway than the people who get paid to do it (in my opinion.)

Only thing i cant get past is the suede it makes the shoe look real bad to me the colorway and everything is aite but that suede and the stitching just doesnt go with me
