Dr. Romanelli x Converse “Born In The USA” Chuck Taylor Cupsole
Some of you out there might remember that a few years ago, Dr. Romanelli teamed up with Converse for a product (RED) shoe that looked like it was made out of band aids. Now he’s back for another go with his take on the all new Chuck Taylor Cupsole. He has gone the patriotic route, and came up with an American flag motif for the shoe.
Stars on the collar, stripes on the rest of the shoe, and classic gum soles. The shoe also features Dr. Romanelli’s own logo, and eagle graphics on the insoles. But wait, there’s more! There is actually a second version of the shoe with pretty much the same stuff. However, this version is a blackened version of the other one. These shoes will be available at Offspring in Selfridges, a United Kingdom retailer on September 15th, 2010.

The gumsoles are dope. I would buy the black pair.
They are a cool design but I couldn’t see myself wearing them unless it was the 4th of July. I might rock the black version though.

i love these. every converse should lose the rubber toe and switch to a cup sole. then i might buy one.
These are actually one of the better converse I have seen. The black pair issss HOT. Anyone know retail?
LOL@converse king’s comment. I’d buy the black ones for sure but I don’t know about the red, white and blue ones. I could only rock them on the fourth of july without looking over patriotic. Great artwork overall, though!!!
